Re:Cognition Health’s first Center in the USA opened in February 2018 in Fairfax, VA. The company’s centers in London, Guildford, Plymouth, Birmingham and Fairfax are united by the shared vision to change the future of Alzheimer’s research by providing early access to new treatments for the disease, at no cost.
The specialist mental health services provided at Re:Cognition Health’s Harley Street Medical Area Center include: ADHD assessments for children and adults, autism assessments, diagnostic and rehabilitation services for patients with mild traumatic brain injury and world-leading memory services.
In addition to its pioneering clinical trial services, Re:Cognition Health’s award-winning team of medico-legal experts is at the forefront in interpretation of brain injury. With increasingly sophisticated diagnostic techniques and new biomarkers, the team work closely with personal injury lawyers and barristers to interpret functional and structural brain damage.
The Children & Young People’s service is led by a team of Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, including Dr Maite Ferrin, who was one of the first psychiatrists in the South of Spain to diagnose ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The company’s services for Autism Spectrum Disorder include access to the Early Start Denver Model, an evidence-based programme set to improve social skills, behaviour, language and symptoms in young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Re:Cognition Health is one of a very limited number of centers in the UK that provides this ground-breaking therapy.
